Περιγραφή:	This story explores the connection between masculinity, hunting, and the changing ideal of the “Hero-Hunter” in Greece from the 1960s onwards by delving into the historical context and societal shifts that shaped the performance of masculinity in hunting practices. It discusses the rise of the Hero-Hunter, a selfless and rugged figure devoted to protecting the community from wildlife nuisances. However, an examination of technological advancements in hunting tools and the impact of the Anthropocene on hunting practices calls into question the sustainability of the Hero-Hunter ideal in the face of ecological crises.
