Περίληψη:	Il s’agit d’une première étude de la présence des Lumières européennes et néohelléniques dans les manuels scolaires d’histoire et de lecture destinés aux écoles (primaires et secondaires) depuis la seconde moitié du xixe jusqu’au début du xxe siècle. Les références en question peuvent être explicites ou implicites et concerner aussi bien les figures emblématiques et les événements majeurs ayant marqué les Lumières que les principes moraux, les concepts fondamentaux et les idées exprimées. L’étude du matériau suit de près les mouvements historiographiques de la période, tels qu’ils s’inscrivent dans ou sont absorbés par le discours officiel de l’État. L’approche proposée est fondée sur l’idée que divers aspects significatifs du discours pédagogique et moral, politique et ethnique, exprimé dans les manuels scolaires s’adressant à la jeunesse, font écho aux idées et activités d’Adamance Coray. Ils se situent dans la lignée d’une longue tradition ininterrompue, datant de la fin du xviiie jusqu’au début du xxe siècle, qui, tout en absorbant les principes du romantisme, adopte en même temps les principes des Lumières européennes et les place au service de l’identité nationale et culturelle. This is a preliminary study of the presence of European and Neohellenic Enlightenment in history and reading textbooks for primary and secondary schools from the second half of the nineteenth century until the beginning of the twentieth century. The references in question may be explicit or implicit and relate to both the emblematic figures and major events that have marked the Enlightenment as well as the moral principles, fundamental concepts, and ideas expressed. The study of the material closely follows the historiographical tendencies of the period, as they are inscribed in or absorbed by the official discourse of the state. The proposed approach is based on the idea that various significant aspects of pedagogical and moral discourse, both political and ethnic, expressed in textbooks destined for young readers, echo the ideas and activities of Adamance Coray and are the lineage of a long uninterrupted tradition, dating from the end of the eighteenth to the beginning of the twentieth century, which, while absorbing the principles of Romanticism, adopts the principles of the European Enlightenment and places them at the service of national and cultural identity.
